Yellow or Dull Headlights?
The covering on your lenses breaks down over time (from UV light) becoming yellowed and dull, significantly diminishing the distance your headlights can throw a visible beam.
To achieve a long-lasting, resilient finish, you need to remove the old faded coating and replace it with a new UV protective gel film. To provide a durable finish we:
- Completely remove the old dull finish.
- Apply a new patented UV rated clear coating that protects the lenses and restores gloss.
What Cars Can Be Done?
Any modern vehicle with plastic headlights, where the coating has yellowed from UV damage. We can not repair deep pitting holes from stone chips in plastic lenses.
How Long Does It Last?
Our repairs use high-grade automotive resurfacing coatings. Under normal use conditions, our repairs will last 2-4 years.
*As with any product, an element of user care is expected. It’s important to correctly clean and dry the vehicle.

Removal Of Water Spots
Correct surface preparation ensures that the UV rated headlight surface coating will hold for years to come. We always remove any form of UV damage from the surface to provide a strong bond. In most cases, our wet sanding process creates a surface that allows for the new coating to bond neatly with the OEM plastic surface. Feel free to talk with us about the best options for your car.
Buff Or Resurface?
While it might be tempting just to cut and polish headlights. The risk of ‘burn-though’ from overheating the plastic surface is significant. Once headlight plastic has burned through, there is no repairing it.
In contrast, wet sanding and removing the UV damaged coating from the lens surface will open up the plastic to receive a new UV rated layer designed to last 2-4 years with proper care.
